What this free app like BornHere shows
For any birth date and city, it shows the sky, the weather, the music, the prices and the history of that day, all free.
- The sky: the moon phase and how much of it was lit, a star map for your city, sunrise and sunset, and a star roughly as many light-years away as you are old.
- The weather: high and low temperature, precipitation and average wind, estimated for your area (from 1981).
- The number one song: the US Billboard Hot 100 number one that week and how long it stayed there.
- What things cost: US bread, gasoline, a first-class stamp, the federal minimum wage, the median new house and what $1 then is worth today. Compare gold prices using published monthly averages when available.
- The world that day: events from that date and famous people born on it.
- Your year: generation, Western and Chinese zodiac, birthstone, heads of government and your next day milestone.
- Life in numbers: days since you were born, trips around the sun, estimated heartbeats and full moons.
